Dude, epiphone specialized in semi-hollow bodies back in the day...Their semi-hollows were equal or better than gibson semi-hollows til they got bought out by them

Well, I'm just starting out also.
I'm getting the Yamaha Pacifica PAC112J ($270 in my local music store)
and a Roland Cube 20X ($190).

That's below $500.

I have that, really wish I had of got something better to start on, because ive completely deserted the ERG now... Doesnt play too bad but it sounds pretty terrible. The pacifica was a much better choice...
