could anyone tell me what a 'true bypass' and a 'bypass loop' is?
ive seen it alot when im looking through reviews but its never explained.

True Bypass is when the signal of your guitar doesn't get any colouration by the pedal when it's off and just passes through as usual.

A bypass loop is basically where whatever is plugged into it is entirely bypassed until you turn it on, in which case all the pedals are now included in your chain. It's a good way to avoid tone loss, or to use a number of pedals at the same time without having to do any tap dancing.
