Now, Im getting a strat but I am confused, what is the difference of rosewood and maple, be specific.

Feel and sound to a lesser extent. maple tends to be a bit 'spongier' sounding and rosewood is 'tighter'.

Try them both out yourself and stop asking us about our personal opinions.

Do it yourself.

maple sounds snappier and brighter, rosewood is a little sweeter sounding. maple is usually finished, so you feel the finish rather than the actual wood, which many people prefer the feel of. personally i like the sound of rosewood better, but i like the way maple looks, and if i could have one of each i would because they do sound a little different.

ebony's the best imo. cross bettween rosewood and maple... not exactly, but somewat.

Mainly a personal, the difference ain't that great so mainly it's down to whether you like the look and feel of maple or rose wood, you need to go try some and make your own mind up.

I play rosewood, maple, and ebony.

I can't really tell the difference in sound.

but, prefer the feel of non-glossy maple.

try 'em out and decide for yourself.
