Anyone have any ways to make drop d a little more interesting? I love drop d since it makes it easier for me to create pentatonic riffage apposed to the standard tunings, and i've found some cool ways to drop d, but i'm wondering if anyone else had one too, please share, im dying to know =)

BTW; My way is taking a regular power chord, but instead of putting it on the a string, put it in the D string, the second way is taking that power chord, but this time you're on the first fret on the E string(That's dropped to D), and you're on the fifth fret on the D strings, i think those riffs sound really menacing, and would love to hear another couple of methods, thanks good people! =)
