Either Brady or Manning. The other guys were all greats in their time, but none of them ever played on the level that Peyton and Tom have done in the last few years, not even Favre.

dan marino has the records, but he could never win the big game, so he is number 4.
montana didnt have the wins, but he has the records. number 3
peyton manning has the records and the win. number 2
now, number one is tied between Tom Brady and Brett Favre. Brady has more wins than Manning, and he has a couple records. Favre has wins, like Brady, but he has more records. also, note that Favre has played almost twice as long as Brady has, give Brady time.

the verdict is in........

Brett Favre is the best QB of all time.....for now. wait until Brady retires and im sure i will retract this statement.

you should also note, i am a Patriots fan, so Favre is an unbiased winner.

Well the stats say Brady, but we saw how much stats mattered February 3rd. I voted Marino.

Bradshaw. I know nothing about NFL,but back in the day Bradshaw was an Acolyte in the WWF... Sad, I know, but I liked it back then!

You thinking of two different Bradshaws there buddy

For me its a tie between Brady and Favre
May the Schwartz be with us! 2012

Q: OK, so do you care about the labels — nastiest, edgiest team in the NFL?

Jim Schwartz: It's better than the alternative — meekest, least aggressive, softest team in the NFL.

HAHAHA! I'm a die hard Steeler fan, and, I assure you, while a great quarterback, who did so much for us, Terry Bradshaw isn't the best ever. He's usually not even in the conversation.

Manning and Brady have had the rules alter to their advantage. Back in the day, receivers used to get harried all around the field. It's so much easier to get open, today. Plus, Brady looks like he probably knew the other defense's plays in advance...

I'm shocked by the number of Brady votes considering so many people hate him. Has anyones seen the snickers commercial he was in? It was pretty funny.

I voted Peyton Manning because this guy just has "it" you know? Plus he's really cool and funny.

^Did you know Terry Bradshaw was in Failure To Launch? He was the dad and was completely naked for one scene.

Did you know Terry Bradshaw has been in millions of movies and commercials?

Yeah, but I found that one especially funny. He actually has more talent than most people would expect from a celebrated pro athlete, at least in my opinion.

I just remembered that list doesn't have John Elway, he's awesome.

FAIL

You mention Aikman, but don't include him in the poll.

Other GLARING omisions:

Roger Staubach

Fran Tarkenton

Johnny Unitas

and Joe Namath Who gave nearly overnight credibility to the AFL (leading to it's later merger with the NFL) with a weak arm and essentially no knees. The man was a born leader. A Field General, in the days when game was fast and furious.

Screw the stats. These were among the greatest, regardless of stats.

^I agree that Staubach>Aikman

Also I love Joe Namath, he's such a cool guy. I was thinking about getting his throwback jersey.

EDIT: Man the offseason thread already died again!
