I have a couple of piezo style pickups I wanted to play with. Also, this is the circuit (simple, easy) I wanted to use. Here it is:

to add a gain adjustment to this, what size pot and capacitor should I use?

I was thinking a small switch bypassing the R2 resistor and isntead going to a pot with a capacitor would be sufficient, am I right?

Where the board will be mounted will be a real shocker when it's done.

Yeah put it at the output, just wire it as a regular voltage divider.
The Laney Thread are big and clever. No exceptions.
