meh line6 is okay I guess, I can get a decent fuzz out of the insane channel...And In my bedroom I really don't give a **** about the tone that much. But I am a tone freak so I will need good tone in jamroom or recording/stage time. and Isn't that the exact same pricetag that line6 has on their 15 watts?

It's higher.

The funny thing is that it's like a copy of the Microcube.
#5
i won't be trading in my nice little micro cube for a line 6. Rolands are the only solid state amplifier that I fancy... the original battery powered practice amp will always the best (as far as tiny little battery powered practice amps go)
#6
It'll be junk just like the big brothers of it

It's really hard to compete against the cubes!

No! Circles always beat cubes!

That's a huge rip off though; Who'd pay more for something smaller than less for something bigger but of equal ****eness?

MicroSpider....

Randall makes some surprisingly good solid states as well.

Yeah you have to remember that the Cubes are Modeling amps

A true solid state amp is just a clean and a distortion channel with no DSP or COSM or anything. Thats why pedals don't work so well with Cubes and Spiders ect ect.

Micro Spider is equally useful at home, on vacation or in the studio.

Who would use that in the studio??

Something about it looks really stupid. Maybe because it is literally just a squashed SpiderIII

The Microcube is 125, but if I'm not mistaken the Cube 15 is only 100, so it's kind of a wtf on both Roland and Line 6.

If it doesnt come in pink it has no chance.

I would love to have one of those to match my hello kitty squire

Really, give me a DA5 over ANY line 6 modeler. Easier to use effects, more customizable, and better tone.
#22
^no way you obviosly havent compared them next to each other
And besides none of you have compared it to the a cube yet so how can you say its a **** amp already im not saying its good but you cant say its **** already
#23
Well, the Spider has TMB knobs, while the Vox and Roland only have a tone knob (still would get the Cube over the Spider if the Spider sucked though).

Seriously, Line6 is trying too hard.
Maybe they should try making HIGH quality budget amps, instead of just adding a smaller, more expensive version of their pieces of crap.

HAHA, i`d buy it just to carry it around, i want an amp thats powered by battery`s, i was thinking of getting the lil marshall fullstack that clips to your belt but the microcube or micro spider would probly be better for not alot more money.
#28
If they really wanted to compete with roland, then they should have made this amp into pocketpod with speaker attached kind of amp, not a small spider.
#29
I dont know about this amp my gut tells me that its ganna be maybe the best one out of the other two because its got the 3 band EQ and you could also mess with the parameters of the effects unlike the cube but gatta wait till they hit the stores
the thing that really pisses me off about the small amps are the speakers they should at least use a 10
#30
^^ there meant to carry around with you.... LOL thats be HUGE to try to hang off your belt of something if they used a 10" speaker, it`d be more then 7lbs too LOL
