I had to widen to inner cavity of my guitar to accommodate new humbuckers and newer and bigger audio pots. So I just took a chissel and started taping it with a hammer til it was wide enough.

When I was putting my strings back on I realise that one of the saddle screws for the E string is missing! Looked all over can't find it anywhere.

Is it common for guitar stores to sell that part? Or do I have to get a whole new bridge? I'm going tomorrow anyways but I wanna know now cuz I'm so pissed

Oops sorry, forgot to mention. It's a typical vintage Strat bridge, MIM strat.

some of the smaller guitar stores might not have it. You could look on musicians friend or Allparts.com.
