I'm torn bettween two guitars. I'm starting to play a lot of metal and I figured I should get a suitable guitar.

Either a Jackson rr3 Rhoads or a Schecter C-1 Hallraiser.

I'm leaning towards the hellraiser right now

post pics of each model and finish you want!

If finish is a factor in your choice in a guitar, you're probably playing for the wrong reasons.

I believe the Rhoads has a JB/59 combo, which is far superior to the Hellraiser's EMG's for everything but reasonably high- gain metal. However, the Hellraiser's got an OFR, so I'm voting for it.

EDIT: Oh, you're talking about the Stoptail Hellraiser... I'd go with the Rhoads, then.

Never played that Jackson but I personally am not a fan of the body style plus I know Schecter makes great guitars so based on what I know I would say Schecter but try them both out.

Please don't tell me I'm the only one that clicked this thread thinking I would learn how to make my guitar sound like a grizzly bear.
