what dimarzio's do you use? A friend of mine is looking to upgrade the pups / electronis on his guitar, and EMG's dont suit his style (as they do mine). He plays alot of clean stuff with a slight bit of overdrive.

I like mahogany wings with either maple or mahogany necks (through the body, Carvin style) ebony fretboards (rosewood is nice too) and I've really started to love Seymour Duncan pickups. I like strings to go through the body (hardtail) for tuning stability and sustain.
