Standing on the corner
where two stores tend to meet.
I stared across the road
but noones there to greet.

I packed up my belongings
and headed down the block.
Threw down my broken watch
no need for a clock.

In walking down this silent road
realization came to stun.
Traveling all alone out here
it's really one verse none.

Night began to creep up
while day began to fall.
The vultures came out to play
sending out their call.

No family here, no friends there
the streets lay quite bare.
Nothing can help me through this time
why should I try a single prayer.

They say that giving up is easy
when you're on your last leg.
I'd rather stop right now
than get down there and beg.

they do alot of corner-standing in these songs dont they? haha, ok, this beginning was boring to me, maybe you could be a bit more decriptive?

I packed up my belongings
and headed down the block.

you could say things in the first line, unless you're married to belongings

In walking down this silent road
realization came to stun.
Traveling all alone out here
it's really one verse none.
i thought this was fairly good

Night began to creep up
while day began to fall.
The vultures came out to play
sending out their call.
good flow

No family here, no friends there
the streets lay quite bare.
Nothing can help me through this time
why should I try a single prayer.

They say that giving up is easy
when you're on your last leg.

i thought this was ok, but you could spice it up more, but keep it up.
i need to hear some sounds that recognize the pain in me, yeah.
