This might seem like a stupid question.. Can you not just play the head on its own?
#3
the head has no speakers attached to it... so no, there will be no sound. and plus, it'll eventually ruin your output transformer, which is expensive to replace.

and TS, uh, it depends on the wattage of the head vs the wattage of the speaker. you'd have to disconnect the speaker from the vk and connect it to the output of the plexi.

lol I used to think that Marshall Heads had like a row of little speakers in the head, like little 3" ones or something. Those were better days...

Thats the idea i was goin on. I was planning on getting a Marshall MG100HDFX then building a cab at a later date...

Aww well..

Back to the drawing board.

Don't get an MG.
THEY BLOWH so bad the blow gets an H.
But, I think if the head is 100w, and the cabs were say 50w, you couldn't turn it up past 5 (volume) or you'd blow the speakers.
I think that. Don't quote me.

Unless the VK actually has an input on it that goes straight to the speaker. I know my Behringer does.

Most modern amps do, if simply because it makes changing speakers much easier.

His head is 50W, and the Valveking's 2 speakers have a total 100W input capacity.
