I am trying to make a chord progression that really brings out the harmonic minor scales unique sound but I can't seem to make anything that sounds good does anyone have any tips on how to make a good harmonic minor chord progression?

yes if your building of of chords of the sort i use these chords very often

[-5--6--8--1--1--]
[-6--6--6--3--3--]
[-7--7--7--2--3--]
[-0--0--0--0--0--]
[-------------------]
[-------------------]
there are more that i use but those are some that relate to eachother

The chords in harmonic minor are:

i iio bIII+ iv V bVI viio

The o's represent diminished.

Usually, though, people mix harmonic minor with natural minor. So the progressions usually are the same as in natural minor except the V is major instead of minor.
