You know the music in those kind of, I want to say, "dramatic" or "sad" movies? The kind of music that's just smooth, and flowing, always leads to a build-up, and then starts all over again? It's hard for me to explain, sorry.

What type of music (genre) is this usually associated with? I just heard this amazing, almost sad sounding classical guitar piece on this movie we watched in school (war movie), and I was really into the style. It wasn't completely classical though, it had a different edge to it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Sorry cant help if you cant explain.

Most likey its classical

What I meant was it was played on a classical guitar. It is definitely NOT classical. It's just sad sounding, kind of repetitive, in a sense. Are there different genres of classical?
