Well, even though this video is the first cool thing I've seen done in typography, I'm pretty interested in it.

I know it must be a good bit harder than it looks, but its certainly cool.

Anyone else interested in it?

... So... Typography is the skill of writing dialogue and twisting it every so often? Wow.

Sorry if I seem an ass, but... Since when was making text so impressive?

Also, this is better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejweI0EQpX8&feature=related

This is kind of like textual DJing. I can't see the big deal in it for some reason.

IMO, it's just the creative way of taking words and breathing life into them. Like, in that vid, when he says something loudly, he makes the word show that, and makes the word huge, or grow in size.

It's a LITTLE more complex than just twisting some words.

You've got to capture the emotion in what's being said.

Not ALL typography is like that video, it's literally just pressing letters, we're all typographers on UG.

But what I'm interested in is the creative kind in the video.

So kool.

EDIT: that just seems like what they use for opening credits on movies, still awesome though.
