I'd go with the guy who has teaching experience. There's a big leap from being a good guitarist to being a good guitar teacher.

The guy who has been teaching already. Being endorsed by Dean doesn't mean ****.

go with the teacher. the guy with dean may be an awesome guitarist but he might not have the teaching skills that u need to be a good teacher

Doesn't mean he can teach.

Definitely go with the instructor. There are tons of really good guitar players out there who I'm sure are very sh**y teachers (Yngwie Malmsteen comes to mind).

The guy with the Dean deal can play but does he really know what he's doing?

How/why did he get endorsed by dean?

well he was at a local music shop, and he got really lucky cuz one of the guys from Dean was there (like one of the high rank company owners ppl (?)) was there

well the guy approached my friend offering endorsement

a week later, two guys showed up to his house with five guitars, and he had to choose and keep one after trying them all out
