There's no way to do it. Gotta have all your strings dude. They cost like 10 cents each...

If you're too poor for new strings, you might wanna consider a new hobby.

Otherwise, there's no way of playing that song. An octave up, but it'll sound like a country song.

Not even. A low E string can be bought for like $1

guitar strings are like $5 a pack, hell if you go to a guitar shop that does repair stuff sometimes they'll just give you a string if you only need one.

Use the high E whenever you need to use the low E. It will sound like ass, but it gets the job done.

i just went to get my high E replaced for like a buck and he said it was like a buck fifty for a low E

hmm I've never looked at the tablature for that song

just change chord positions down 5 frets and then if you're playing something like an A# on the bottom E, play it on the B string so that would be 6 on the e string and 11 on the b string

EDIT: I'm sure you could get an e string for free at the local music center, I did when I first started playing

mow lawns or shovel snow or something or get $5 from your parents. It shouldn't be that hard.

Tune all your strings lower so you'll be missing high E, or snap the other strings so you can buy a brand new pack.

Whenever me and my friends are out of cash, we can always manage to get at least 10 bucks in change. Plus, go to a small guitar store, and be like 'I have the last 5 bucks to my name in my pocket, what can you do for strings?" Dude set me up with $15 strings for under $5. Go in, ask, be amazed. If they are nice to you, set you up, they probably think you will be a returning customer once you have some more cash / are paid next week.

lol remeinds me whne i first started playing and have never been to a guitar shop, i just found an acoustic and tried playing with a penny, and whenever my e string broike, I took out the a string and put it in the e place, then i took the d string and put it in the a place. I hardly knew how to play so it didn't rlly matter to me hehe.
