Dubstep.
Soon you will sit on the bench
of those who deny I have my soul
You sell a dream you create
Condemned by what you condemned before
Smooth are the words you sing down and high
Underground is your joy your laws

Don't be ignorant to the fact that not everyone knows that.

No, that's almost completely different. Dub is based on reggae, but usually without vocals, a ton of bass, and more effects.

LOL no, I even explained in the Guide to Electronic Music thread.

Thanks for the mix Masta.
According to BS statistics, 92% of teens have moved on to rap. If you're among the 8% who doesn't consider rap to be real music, donate your brains, as you clearly aren't using them.

Just start off with King Tubby and Scientist and go from there.

They're two of the main staples of the genre.

Seeing as there have been next to no suggestions..

Try:

Scientist
Mad Professor
Lee Scratch Perry
King Tubby

also check out 'Trojan records', I have a 3CD dub compilation kicking about somewhere that IIRC is the bomb, too.
Let me tell you about heartache and the loss of god
Wandering, wandering in hopeless night
Out here in the perimeter there are no stars

Out here we is stoned
