I have an old strat knock-off lying around that i don't use much any more and since i've always wanted to learn how to play slide, i figured i that i would learn on this guitar.
Do you guys have tips for guitarists starting to play slide?
Is there anything special you should do to your guitar, anything you should have (other than a slide obviously) or anything else before you start learning?

That's pretty much all I know for the setup, I like to mess around with a slide every now and then.

Theres a few good youtube videos to give you pointers. And a good slide song to start with: "In my time of dying - Led Zeppelin"
