the body's kinda weird. its either mahogany or basswood (cant quite tell, kinda dark for basswood, light for mahogany) with a maple top (and botom as well for some reason) and the electronic cavities are lined with plywood, i assume cos it was easier to cut it into the fiddly shapes than the solid wood.

the guy i bought it from owned a shop, and he found a load of wired up bodies he didnt know he'd ordered

im gonna be using a bare knuckle rebel yell uncovered set. the ones in there now are just crappy stock ones that i'll use until i have the money for the decent ones.

on a side note, anyone in the uk got a lp neck theyre selling? :P

If it sounds good, doesn't matter what wood it is.

And call it Sunny.
Dyer's Eve is awesome, and has an abnormally large penis, which doesn't act as any hinderance to his everyday life despite its freakishly large size.

sounds like some right strange mixes of woods in the body, why line it with plywood? lol

But it'll be a good project. i've got a les paul body i got off ebay for about the same price which i've been meaning to do for months now

What i've found is finding a Lp neck is a bit of a pain in the UK
www.axesrus.com have got a couple
and i'm sure there'll be a few on www.allparts.co.uk

Ebay doesn't come up with many as most LP's have set necks, not bolt ons.

And i think your pickup choice will be a good choice

Oh, the only reason i said that is b/c it looks kinda bumpy. Dont take offense, but did you wet sand it after the clear coat, then buff? Cause apparently when you clear coat, it is bumpy, then you have to do that.

yer, its not the best finish in the world. only my second build. and i used spray cans, hench the burst isnt that great. if it bothers me too much, i might wet sand it, but in real life it doesnt look too bad. has just shown up badly in the photo
