There's one that's going for £350 atm and has under a day on it.

If you buy new, it's going to cost you just over £520.

I bought the P-bass version off thomann.de but it cost me just over £500 and the Jazz is even more. If you want it for less than £500 you'll almost certainly need to go used and I'd never recommend buying a second hand bass of ebay etc, it's always much better to see it first...

Or, if you really want the bass, you can accept that it is worth the money you pay for it, and save your money for a little longer.

I might get £50 a month max from babysitting, but I saved up pretty much every bit of money I cam across for a year to get a £750 bass. I don't regret a penny of it.

These are the main source of Japanese Fenders in the UK. They also do the non-export Aerodyne which I think look much better.

They don't deal in Aerodynes, but http://www.fareastguitars.co.uk/ deal in second Japanese Fenders.

+1 on the non-export, that thing looks lush, and its £489 for a bass no one you'll ever meet will have

that first website is a) full of typos and b) containing wrong information, such as Mustang basses are only available over here in the UK in Fiesta Red, the Vintage White one right behind at this moment says otherwise

so I wouldn't buy off of that sight, typo's and wrong informartion to me says not worth my time

Fair enough. But saying that, they are well known dealers of Japanese Fenders. I didn't just do a Google for you but heard of them through the good comments of others.

Having trouble locating that typo, unless you've contacted him already about it.

Of course there's also the option of importing. There's one or two reputable eBay dealers (though I am not an eBay fan) and also you could always import from Japan via Ishibashi. Everyone seems to be doing it.

Good luck with the search anyway.
