Are strat necks easily interchangeable. I mean I know they have the 4 bolts, but are there like...different sizes? Or can I just get a new one and put it on.

I'm scalloping it, but I think rosewood scalloped looks pretty bad.

Well the older ones will be more worn out of course, but the difference in tone is really all opinion. Some people think it makes no difference, others do.

Mmk. I only hear a little difference in tone. I just don't want to buy an 80's or 90's neck and end up having it not fit my strat.

The neck heel should be the same was the big advantage to the bolt on system. Will the screw holes line up exactly probably.
