Hey all,
I have a Alesis Multimix 8 USB plugged into a Mac. The Multimix came with Cubase LE, and I want to use that instead of garageband. Cubase doesn't seem to recognize that the mixer is even plugged in, but the mixer works fine with garageband. I need the options of tracks and such with Cubase! If anyone knows how to work it, please help!

can you do that with garageband?

so how do you do that i try but it only lets you record on 2 separate input channels - mono 1 and mono 2

honestly garage band is soo simple and is pretty decent quality, just use it man, fool around with it for a while. did you just get your mac recently?
