I'm trying to build up my analog pedal collection (can reverbs be analog)? Anyway, I'm wondering what the best budget reverb pedal is - the Bad Monkey of reverbs. Please no Holy Grail recommendations.

Also for a wah, would a Vox be my best bet?

Why no Holy Grail suggestions? They're cheap and awesome!

And yes, Vox V847s are sweet and can be modded if you're into that. I'll say Ultimate Wah Thread before hendriko does though!

Cheapest reverb ever?

Place your amp in a very large, steel bin...

I've been looking into getting a reverb pedal as well, and have been looking at the Holy Grail myself. I'm curious as to why you don't want to hear any of those suggested?

^ The Holy Grail Plus is awesome, like the Holy Grail but with more controls!

Because the thing is $250 even on eBay and $300 in online stores. I was looking for around 100-150 for it - I got the Bad Monkey for $80.

Line 6 Verbzilla. Both versatile and good sounding, one of Line 6's better products.

How is this - http://drumpower.com.au/store/product.php?productid=562&cat=0&page=1

I know it's a Behringer but the thing is $34 and you know what the prices are like around here - would a noob like me honestly notice a difference?

You'll probably have a lot of fun with that one also. I've never used it myself, but it seems to have a bunch of useful features. If nothing else, it'll probably help you figure out what it is you want from a reverb.
