Good job, you win the award for vaguest question of the day!

Just turn the suck knob way up.

Only joking.

Try bringing down the mid, but I think this doesn't really belong in this forum.

Nope. It's just better suited to a forum relating to the instrument than one relating to the music which you are trying to emulate with it.

It depends on which era. Early stuff just have the trebles high, distortion high, bass, mids high etc. - basically just your bog standard punk tone, but if you want later stuff just scoop the mids and add loads of compression, bass and gain. (horrible tone imo) If you muck around with the settings you will get something eventually.

use the crunch channel instead of lead channel if your amp has one. turn the reverb to 12 o clock and crank up the gain and mid

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't the Misfits use bass amps instead of guitar amps?

Try stabbing your amp's speaker with a pocket knife.

(..then maybe try: Gain 9 / Bass 9 / Mid 6 / Treb 5 / Post Gain 5)

Guitar and bass have the same impedance.

The only difference is the frequency response, I think.

Rancid are the best punk band ever.

Tim Armstrong is a songwriting genius, is a complete fashion diva and has an incredible singing voice.

He doesn't sound like Opie from family guy at all.

I wouldnt be surprised if the first thing Varg did was sign up for WoW so he could kick some Judeo-Christian ass.
