when painting the head how do i do it so i dont paint over the brand of the guitar...i was thinking tape but then the color would be uneven...any tips??

you paint over it and then buy a new decal for $20

I would suggest tape, and try to cut it into a rough shape of the brand. Or maybe you can get a stencil (you know, those sheets where you cut out a shape and draw inside it with a marker) of the brand and then cover the rest up with tape around it and spraypaint it black or something.

If you want it to look good, the I have to agree with Sam. Just suck up the cash for a new decal--I get mine for $7.50
