I'm trying this F major arpeggio and I'm a little confused on the best way to play it

|----------------------------------17-20-17------------------------------||
|---------------------------13-18------------18-13----------------------||
|-------------------10-14----------------------------14-10--------------||
|------------7-10--------------------------------------------10-7--------||
|-------3-8---------------------------------------------------------8-3---||
|-1-5-------------------------------------------------------------------5-1||

A big stretch on the E string, then would use my first finger for the A string then jump to the 8th fret with my pinky? A little help please? =D

Thanks

not really sure not that experianced ant jumping down all 6 strings that fast but i say hammer ons goind down and pullofs coming up in a sweeping pick styleish thing but it also depends on ur hand size and guitar neck size (im not technical with guitar scale sizes and what not i dont no what 25.5 and stuff like that means so... im digressing.. any how like i said its all relative to ur size speed and guitar size plus the hammer ons make it go a little faster (if ur good at them n e ways lol)

Anyone?

The best way to fret it would be using you first and pinky fingers for all of it, changing position on every string.

The stretches may seem big at first but don't try to rush yourself and just keep trying; you'll be able to do it eventually; I just did that stretch an a bass!

Most people's first attempt would probably be to try and stretch the fingers.
Don't. That will only slow you down, add tension you don't need and make it
more difficult to be accurate. Keep your hand relaxed and do a "jump" from your
index to pinky. Try covering the ground by just tilting your wrist. You'd be surprised
how fast you can cover large distances that way (and still remain relaxed).

Thanks guys, I was just doing large stretches (my fingers and hands are very long) and I couldn't get any faster. This helps a lot

Stretch, bud, stretch.
If you know sweeping or string skipping, it'll make it a lot easier than alt picking.

So if doesn't need to be that exact arrangement, put it into string skipping.

I don't mean to sound like a noob, but where do you find exersises like these?
Or is it just knowing your theory?
