Is the neck on this guitar mahogany or maple? I don't see consistency in the guitar specs across web sites. Any Schecter experts that can comment? I sent Schecter a mail but have not heard back. Thx.

That is true. However, multiple vendors list this guitar as having a maple neck. Do all of these guitars have a 3-piece mahogany neck?

I would trust the Schecter site over anything else. They know what materials they are using to build their guitars.

I got two responses back from Schecter since I sent them two e-mails.

Response 1 stated that it was a mahog. neck.

Response 2 said that it could be either, since they sometimes use maple and sometime use mahog. Interestingly enough, the second responder stated that they have switched back and forth over the years, and that there was no way for him to tell based upon the serial number. Thx.
