I wasn't being cynical, I was nice enough to congratulate him for seeing a movie, and I even welcomed him to the future. You people need to read between the lines a little better.

I can't read your emotions, so I'm taking an educated guess.

...now I think you're being comedic. Sarcastic? Perhaps naughty.

What would give you that impression? Am I wearing a spinning bow tie or something?

Ah, tell me about it. Good novelty formal wear is just so hard to find these days.

On topic: Christian Bale has been one of my few favorite actors. Very convincing in this movie.

Yeah, but that movie is responsible for the failure of every relationship I've ever been in. After it came out, everytime I'd start talking about music to a lady friend, they thought I was going to murder them.

Christian Bale is brilliant in this movie, easily one of the best movies of this millennium so far IMO

Yeah, though I wish I was a sex knight like Bale was in that movie. Except for the killing, that is...

Along with "The Banger Sisters" which was the most misleading movie I've ever seen.

"Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Christy, take off your robe. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. Sabrina, remove your dress. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Sabrina, why don't you, uh, dance a little. Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as anything I've heard in rock. Christy, get down on your knees so Sabrina can see your asshole. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and Against All Odds. Sabrina, don't just stare at it, eat it. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite."

True dat, plus the fact that Vin Diesel is a freaking terrible actor, killed an already dead movie.

I found it hilarious when Jared Leto got butchered to Huey Lewis' "Hip to Be Square"

especially after Bale's little monolgue.

Of course, it was also great when he looks at his own reflection and flexes, admiring himself during sex.

I didn't see the first one, just the second one because I was hoping to see some hardcore Ice Cube porn. I thought maybe he broke out of that Family Friendly schtick he's been working lately.

Yeah. I thought his best work was in Friday. Couldn't take him seriously in Boys In The Hood, though. Jheri curls threw me off big time.
