Hehe, most people would disagree with me on th is but i quite like the look of on of those Gibson/Epiphone flying V which one side is black and the other side is white.

because there is also a gibson squire, and they don't want to get them confused

i personally like the jackson V's

but the ESP Alexi Laiho model is pretty freaking sweet...its like a rhodes but the bottom blade part is slightly extended so its in between a v and a rhodes v

Thats only on the ESP models in the USA. The Japanese Alexi sigs are shaped like a real RR and it looks way better. But back on topic: I think the best V is probably the Jackson RR1 in White with the black pinstripes, the Alexi Japanese Black Sawtooth sig, or the holy grail of all RR V's:

Be cool.

Mine. But it's the only V i've ever played. My sig says it all.

ooh i forgot about the caprison!
i hate where the dial is though.
lol

The dial itself is kickass though; I originally thought that the "push/push" switch was a typo, but it's not.

Instead of pulling the thing you can just hit it for both positions.

the dial is sweet
when i first heard it was "push/pull" i thought youd need to put like some kind of effort into changing it
but i checked it on a horus in a shop near me and its one of the coolest things ever!

Eh. As awesome as Caparison are, that's got to be my least favorite looking V. Gibson's f*ckups don't count.

The ESP/Edwards "Sexy Finger II" for looks! (And possibly playability judging the specs, never played one though)

The Jackson Y2KV is also pretty snazzy.
However one terrible V is the "dean baby V" the small body makes it very thin sounding. I have one in parts upstairs, planning on swirl finishing the body, tightly fitting in a piece of wood into the neck pickup route (just to add that slight bit of extra mass) and I'll add a "fat finger" to the headstock to make it a bit thicker.

The Agile Reaper definitely has the best design all it needs is a figured top and it would be the overall most awesome flying V design. That ESP ninja looked pretty sick too.

Best looking is the RR, best sounding is the Gibson.
