Hi, I'm trying to find hip hop/rap songs that have guitar parts in them. I know I have heard a bunch, but Thugz Mansion by 2Pac is the only one I can think of right now. What other songs can you think of that fit this description?
The Setup:
Fender Standard Stratocaster
Crate GFX-30
Vox AD50VT

Why does it need a guitar?

It needs a guitar because I want to play rap songs on my guitar.

John Frusciante played guitar on the Wu-Tang song I happen to be listening to right now, The Heart Gently Weeps. The beat is mostly based on, you guessed it, the Beatles.

Fight Music by D12 has a high bit in the chorus
Lose yourself by Eminem
Sing for the Moment by Eminem (Otherwise known as Dream on by Aerosmith with a wacking great guitar solo on the end)
Alot of Nu- Metal
Anything with a Reggae backing
Cant touch this by MC Hammer (bass but there you go)
Your other option is to work out chords for certain tunes and do it that way

Check out Hunter Brown from SoundtribeSector9. They play a lot of hip-hop based stuff and have guests rappers with them pretty often.

Are we talking about guitar or Sample of a song with guitar? Kind of confused by some of the responses if we are talking about actually guitar playing.

Anyway, I saw Wyclef do 'If I Were President' on Chapelle show playing guitar with another guy playing bass. Not a big Wyclef fan but that was pretty sick.
