Anybody else here got Tiscali broadband?
I signed up a few weeks ago, and noticed on the second day of our service, they block off all torrent connections.
Anybody else on Tiscali and know any way around this?

I doubt there's anything you can do. You could try a proxy though, but I'm not sure if that'll actually work.

I would assume so, why would he post it otherwise?
Apparently, from what I've read and researched, Tiscali caught on about people using port 443 and did something to counteract it.

Didn't read all of this, but I know the site has some good FAQs.
Found this on it.

EDIT: I'm very upset about how ISPs think they can control or throttle the use of a public internet
Glad it hasn't happened over in my neck of the woods...yet...
