im going to be getting about 450$ soon and im thinking about getting a used c-1+ , epi explorer or and al-3000 and getting new pickups. I play throught a VK 112 and im also getting a new speaker (prbly a jensen mod or something from wherehouse speakers).

I play classic rock, blues, metal, learning to shred, and i aslo play for church.

Well the Epi Explorer is usually no good for shred and Schecters are typically very high quality for the price.

This is UG, we love Schecters and Ibanez and Jacksons, we hate Deans and BCR's, we hate Marshall MG's, and everyone needs a new amp.

The explorers are great for Rhythm and lead.

I'd get the Schecter because its more bang for the buck
