I'm fixing up an old strat for metal, and I'm thinking of putting new saddles on it, partially because the old ones are crap, and partly because I think better saddles would be more comfortable without the pointy allen screws in my palm when palm muting.

anyone heard of rolling saddles?

I was thinking those, typical smooth strat saddles (look more comfortable)

or the Wilkinson trem

Can't decide, and looking for suggestions.
Keep in mind 50 bucks is the most I'll spend, cause after all, it's a crappy guitar! The wilkinson seems like a good deal though.

The screws are easy to fix. Take em out one at a time and file or grind the end down so they sit flush.

i don't wanna file them down, even if I had the correct tools (a metal file). It's not just that I don't want to, I know that I need new saddles. I'm kind of looking for replacement options
