Ok hears the thing,

ive got $700 AU for a new amp im most probebly goin to get tomorrow but need some opinons.

there is this realy awesome peavey bandit 112 amp for $700 and need to no if i should get it. ive seen a couple of good reviews for it online and was wondering if anyone ownes it and is it worth geting

The Bandit is great for a solid state, but look around for used tube combos and you might be able to do better.

With that much you can get a decent valve combo, I've heard the Peavey Bandits are good, but you get something in a different league for the same price.

buy a used tube combo....buy a used tube combo...maybe the guy wants a solid state?....and trust me...just cause its tube....certainly doesnt mean its better than a bandit

The man's in Australia. A Bandit might be the best he can do for $700. It's not a bad amp.

I know its difficult. The Bandit is among the best of solid state amps. I would check for a good used tube combo, but if not the Bandit sounds really good and has plenty of pre-clipping power. Cleans are outstanding, distortion is good.
