Leadbelly! He was folk music- Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, early Bob Dylan etc. are right up that street. "Blowin' in the Wind" is a good starter for getting into the one-guy-with-an-acoustic folk music- from the album "The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan." It's a good introduction to the genre- songs that aren't too hard, but sound cool and are class to sing along with.

You might also wanna check out delta blues, like Robert Johnson and Son House.

EDIT: I get from the comments that the song isn't actually anything like Leadbelly (speakers ain't working at the minute ) so I could very well be wrong!

yeah I know all those names you gave but those aren't what I meant and neither the song in youtube doesn't sound like those artists,but thanks anyway...
