ok, it seems that I'm having a bad day, as soon as i get to playing guitar 3 strings snap at once, so i figure 'no biggie, I'll just re-string' when all is done and I'm back to playing the part of my nut that holds the low E snaps right off!
what i need to know is this: where can i get a good replacement nut for my explorer?

A good guitar shop, maybe a smaller one, woud have something like that. I would get a pre-slotted one, as trying to slot it yourself could end up badly. Make sure its the right width, i think an explorers nut is 1 6/8" or something like that.

I assume you restrung it wrong. either that or it was a REALLY ****ty nut. Any local shop should be able to replace a nut.

Yeah. people, like Lemoninfluence, are hypocrites and should have all their opinions invalidated from here on out.
