In my opinion, Juggernaut was THE album of 2007. However, few of the new regulars know of these guys.

Let's share our golden love on, Bracewar.

www.myspace.com/bracewar

Lastfm (the only details I could find on these guys):

5 piece Hardcore band from Richmond, Virginia. Released a 3 song demo in the fall of '05 with Good News Records. Released an s/t 7" on Brain Grenade just a few months ago. They are currently signed to 1917 Records and have a new LP titled "Juggernaut" that is out now. Go pick up a copy because this band has it together.

My input: After various demos, they released the full length Juggernaut which brought much love from the hardcore community. Stompy, thrashy and angry as fuck, they're one of the few 'stand from the crowd bands' today in hardcore.

I thought we needed a new BOTM and these guys need more love.

EDIT: Dai, you will sticky this, because you love me.

EDIT EDIT: I coulda sworn I put the link in. Ahh well, there it is.

I missed them this month because it started snowing hard the morning of the day they played. I drive a Jeep, but seeing 5 accidents driving to school kind of freaks you out when you have to drive 75 miles (venue and back) with ****ty tires.

Ah, troof, i got you. Yeah i'm seeing them in somebodies bacement deep in baltimore, the venue is called Charm City Art Space. Bands like Ruiner and The Anitwaistoids and Surroundings practice there i'm pretty sure. It's really tiny and it has such a family-oriented feel to it, everybody is happy and it's just a really awesome place, Bracewar will tear it up fo sho!!

LOJ and Bracewar? ****. so jealous

Band is great. Can't wait to see them again

Definately a good choice, didn't get a chance to comment about Pulling Teeth before it was changed but I am going to see them next month...

So the show was.....decent. Surroundings (local) tore it up, i really love surroundings. LOJ took about an hour to start because the Vox couldn't get out of work for a while and then once they started playing it wasn't as good as i had expected but it was still good. Bracewar was awesome, great live show, tons o' energys, a couple of the guys are HUGE

does anyone elses copy of juggernaut have all the songs cut like, halfway through the track and then are continued on the next track? i was wondering if it was something that was done on purpose or if itunes just ****ed it up.

My band cover Intro/Friends Like You.

I love them but I prefer their demo's to Juggernaught.

It's so weird seeing people that like them not being from Richmond. I don't like Brace War and all that straightedge **** but some of my friends do.
i don't mean to seem like i care about material things. like a social status. i just want four walls and adobe slabs for my girls.

So you cover a song by a band that is still together, and is still releasing good music, during which the band's own name is shouted?

oof.

After hearing Juggernaut I'm really into these guys. One of the greatest newer hardcore bands as far as I know.

Have we stopped doing BotM?

i am pretty sure the carrier deserves to be the BOTM.

The Carrier deserves it, but I bet most of the guys (and girls..) in here either dig them or know about them through the number of posts referring to them in the last few months. It'd kind of be like preaching to the converted. Still, it'd be here for any kids that stumble into the forum (are there even any of them these days?).
#40
Can't be bothered. Maybe tomorrow I might actually do something though if noone else has. We really owe it to ourselves to keep these up to date, there are so many good bands out there.
