... and a cat?
I've heard this riddle before with the farmer having to take the seed, the fox and the bird, and that I can understand.

But, if the farmer has to take seed, a fox, a chicken and a cat across, while only taking one at a time, and never leaving two things that will eat each other alone together, how can it be done?
The fox will eat the bird or the cat
The cat will eat the bird
The bird will eat the seed

1 - Kill the cat, the bird, and the fox. Dead animals can't eat.
2 - Take them in any order you like.
3 - ?????????
4 - PROFIT!!!
