Yeah, Boogies are awesome. I almost scored me a Mark I but I ended up buying a Dean instead.

I still snagged a Mesa/Boogie Studio Preamp which is more or less a Mark IV lead channel. I'm happy.

The circuity is close to the lead of a Mk II C+. whether thats close to a MK IV Im not sure. But none the less its a sweet sweet sound over-all.

I thought it sounded quite similar to a Mark IV but now that you mention it, the preamp is quite reminiscent of a Mark II but it's still different.


The Mark II C+ is a bit more aggressive than a Mark IV.

Not easy at all. And if you do find one, expect to pay over $3000.

I though people prefered Mark IVs over the rectos?
