This thread is for bands that you recently found that you don't think would get that many posts if they had their own thread, for the simple fact that not to many people in the Hardcore forum are into HARDCORE, oh and by the way, this is strictly for Hardcore bands, if you couldn't tell.

- Local or non-local, doesn't matter.
- Add links if there are links
- Try to limit each post to about 3 bands to kind of give people a chance to check them out, so they don't get overwhelmed with amazing new tunes
- Give a little info about the type of hardcore
- Say where they are from
- Let me reiterate HARDCORE as in American Nightmare, Ruiner, D.R.I., I Adapt, Killing the Dream, The Effort

Surroundings - MD (straight up hardcore)
http://www.myspace.com/surroundings

History - VA (ultra tasty melodic)
http://www.myspace.com/historyhc

Blind the Thief - MD (not as tasty, but also decent melodic)

Sorry man, but those bands have nothing to do with hardcore, they are all metalcore or just straight death metal, that's the kind of stuff i'm trying stray away from in making this. I'm not trying to come off as mean or anything but yeah, this is for hardcore, sorry

and to Ska -
yeah i've noticed you talking a lot about them lately ha. When i saw them (which was about 1/2 a year ago) they had this Sick shirt, it had a bunch of little german kids with gasmasks and it was some german propaganda. They were also giving out free demos, i have one .That was all i liked about them really, it was a decent show, but not my kinda hardcore. I'll try them again soon ha

Not so much bands I've just found but bands that I've heard about but never heard any records:

Los Crudos: I am loving this at the moment, got their discography yesterday.

Gauze: Japanese fast hardcore, band rules hard. Released a new album last year after about a ten year wait. Seriously good stuff, check them out.

Trash Talk: Yeah I'm way behind on this band, everyone on here is talking and backing them but I just never checked them out. I really wish I had picked up their stuff earlier, it is incredible and just what I've been looking for recently.

Cryptic Slaughter: Fast, old, awesome. Little more needs to be said about this band, go out and get your grubby little mits on anything of theirs.
All-O-Gistics:

Thou shalt not commit adulthood (ALL)
Thou shalt not partake of decaf (ALL!)
Thou shalt not have no idea (ALL)
Thou shalt not allow anything to deter you in your quest for all (ALL!)

Gauze is SICK, i also love Trash Talk. I've heard of Los Crudos but never checked them out, same with Cryptic, i'll look into them later
#19
I can hook you up with the Los Crudos discog and one or two Cryptic albums if you want them?

Haha, I'm in CT all the time it seems. I was there the other week to see them and Ambitions at WAmLeg, and might becoming up April 4th. I'll definitely be at As One, too.

I'd also like to mention the great Stab You In The Head And Eat Your Face Off (also known as SYITH, stabyouinthehead, or stabyou)

I just finished recording some records and i have a Soul Control record sitting right next to me, but i chose to record that another night, i save the best for last, ha.

does anyone know if their is a cheap place to get the new gauze album? I've heard they are all on cd(.....................) and cost 30 bucks(............................). i only have 'coretic' its pretty good, you can definitely tell it'd be AMAZING live.

Los crudos by far one of the best bands ever, the scene they created is ****ing huge.
it's not unusual to be one of 10 white peope at a show with 70 people. Here are the 'torch bearers' after crudos broke up. They formed in 1998, en el pilsen barrio de sudre chicago. Los tiene un nuevo guitarrista llama (?) Joey, el toce en INTIFADA uhm also.

Alcatraz has the same members as First Blood except for I believe one of the guitarests.

Not really new bands but just started getting into them a bit more;

Trap Them
Killing The Dream
Rise And Fall.

Killing the Dream is one of my favorite HC bands. Trap them is amazing also, mixing the legendary D-Beat w/ grind Hardcore madness, pure genius.
