Does anyone have any recommendations for new British bands? I kind of have been a bit out of touch with the Uk hardcore music scene of late. I don't mind if it's old school style, experimental/post-metal or metal core, just anything that is fresh and good.

Cheers

Uh it was a really thrashy band, and I remember you posted some youtube vids of you guys playing live.

That's Radical Onslaught, we've been offered to play a festival sometime later this year which I can't disclose the other details of and we should be getting proper recordings done in the next few months. I'll keep you guys posted.

Also Honour Amongst Thieves is incredible, one of the most passionate live bands I've ever seen.

^ Glad you like them. I saw them open for FASSW, Architects, Red Chord in London last year. Side Effect Live was great.

The vocals end up putting me off Cry for Silence, which is a shame as they have a seriously good guitarist.

Have you heard their new album? Its really good, even if you arent mad on the vocals, the instrumental work is brilliant, havent heard anything like it since Sikth's DOADD

Honour Among Thieves as in the pretty melodic band? Just checked them out on MS (the first time I typed it in I got some school band doing Arctic Monkeys covers..) and they sound pretty good.

Honour Among Thieves are the best underground band in the UK.

I just found out my band is playing with these at Cuntstock in Nottingham. Sweet stuff.

Totally didn't realise Tortuga was ex-November Coming Fire. Makes sense since both bands are awesome and the vox are similar.

Also, they might appeal to a few people here, they might not, but I have a bit of a spot for atm.
