hey, i posted a few days ago, but i have another questions.

whats the deal with violin bass's? are they actually differant or just look differant?

im torn between a deal with ablue guitar and amps etc and buying this violin bass seperately and picking the rest up

ooooo, I see. I think its the same as a bass, just that its in the shape of a violin....not too sure though.

From my (limited) experiences, I find them to have absolutely no advantage over regular basses. They sound worse, sustain horribly and are overpriced. Most people only seem to buy them due to the Beatles.
