As far as i know the only liquor that should not be stored after opened is wine, and even then it's mainly the french one. American wine usually has conservatives in it to stop this.

probably should get an electric guitar for metal, they allow distortion which acoustics don't do so well

Plenty of people do. Whoever the hell Mark Tremonti is has a sig model. He sounds pretty metal.

A PRS is my main guitar currently, but I'm looking to rid myself of it. I'm a Gibson snob at heart.

Best for you.

Theres no best guitar brand for anything, its all down to personal preference.

Companies make low end guitars, so obviously the higher end are gonna be better for metal. That doesnt make the whole brand the 'best for metal'.

Lets say for example, a Entry level jackson with duncan designed pickups etc, then take a higher end ESP, the ESP is gonna be better. But that doesnt make ESP the 'best for metal, because there will be higher end Jacksons that are gonna be better than lower end ESP's.
Different companies are better at different things.

Theres no one company thats the best, in the end, its what you like, its what you prefer the most.
Lots of guitarists use several brands because they're all different in what they deliver.

Nothing wrong with dean man, I have an evo xm but I don't use it for metal but I play blues on it and clean stuff. I don't see the problem with deans maybe the razorbacks though I dunno man.

i love the feel of esp's, the old dave mustaine sig (when he was with esp) was the **** for me, it felt sooooo right

my ibanez atm plays perfectly for me too, but its annoyingly got a floyd rose

Ibanez are popular with Shred, I believe. As their necks tend to be thinner as well as their bodies.

If you're talking about best sound, it's all about the pickups mate. EMG, Seymour Duncans, any guitar is suitable if it has humbucking pickups.
