I wanted to get a opinion on this one. Can someone tell me which guitar would sound better for rock and so and so forth. I have a **** les paul special player 2 and it hurts my back when i play it because of the weight. Tht brings me to my next question do better guitars way less. I know tht is probly the dumbest question i ever asked but o well. If u were to chose which one would you get.

What exactly do you play? If you're just into rock/classic rock I'd go with the LP.

You may want to check out an SG. Very light, great neck, powerful.

Id definately go for the LP based on that style of music
Guitar Gear: (Best To Crappiest)
1) Gibson Les Paul Studio Premium Plus (Must Have)
2) Line 6 Flextone III XL (Go With The Triple Rectifier Setting)
4)Schecter Gryphon (Coil Tapper)
3)Fender Lite Ash Tele (Sweet Finish)
4Zoom Fire-18 Amp

you may want to learn to spell the word "weigh" before purchasing anything

07 Fender American Deluxe Strat
07 Fender Custom Telecaster
09 Seymour Duncan Pickup Booster
09 Fulltone OCD V.4
10 Ibanez WH-10 V.2
09 Splawn SuperStock
10 Jet City JCA-20
97 Fender Hot Rod Deluxe

Yeh the SICK! bit sounds a bit stupid.

Sorry to ask this, but do you specifically want an Epiphone?

I can think of a few Ibanez guitars that would do those bands you like and weigh a lot less.

Keep all options open if you can, you'd be surprised what you might find.

I was about to say, an SG could be a happy medium between the two.

if your into heavy stuff, then go with the prophecy, but if i were you id just keep that guitar, even if it hurts your back, you still dont need to spend $400+ if youve only been playin 3 monthes, keep it, and just get a strap like this

its suppose to make the guitar seem to weigh less, dont get a new guitar till you can learn more than bits and peices of songs

SG (G400)
An in between guitar

Pretty light to

If you don't like SG's then I'd say the Prophecy
I'm sorry but I don't like LP's at all
Except the Zakk Wydle LP
That thing is sick
