well guys, i gotta sing for my guitar class tomarrow, at like 9:30...

now usually, my vocal cords are all that warmed up at 9:30 in the morning, lots of mucus and nasty stuff down there so, i was wondering if anyone had any tips on how i could get that stuff out...discretely...i don't wanna start doing vocal excersises infront of 20 people before i start

by the way, song i'm singing is New American Classic by taking back sunday, me and my friend are doing it acoustic-y he's too much of a wuss to sing

1.terrible song choice... yeah I have to say it
2.do vocal warm ups... or else you will sound even worse than the origional recording of that song.

#1 is completely wrong.

Go to sleep earlier, wake up earlier.

Pretty simple really. It'll give your vocal chords some time to clear up. Once in a while you have to make some sacrifices in order to achieve what you want.
