Tried Smells like teen spirit yet?
Easy as pie.
Teaches you your powerchords too.
After you can play that song, you should have powerchords down pretty well.

I learned Trogdor before it was even on GH.
Call me Wes.

Barbarian by August Burns Red is really fun to play. I think so anyway. It will be probably be quite challenging if you're just starting out on guitar, though.

Led Zeppelin - The Ocean, Black Dog, and Heartbrearker (all without solos)

They'll push you and be a bit hard but they're all doable and you'll be better for learning them.

I see you like Metallica. Why not learn "For Whom The Bell Tolls"? It's probably their easiest song to learn, and at the same time is one of their best.

Edit: It's actually the perfect beginner song. There is only one remotely challenging part in the song, and when you look at the tab or listen to it or whatever, you'll see what I mean.

I suggest trying the intro to Metallica - One
The White Stripes - Seven Nation Army
Eminem - Stan
The Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication

All quite simple songs.
