This assignment is way passed over due, and I cannot for the life of me figure these out. These are all 7th chords that need to be resolved. Keep in mind:

7th - Steps down (ALWAYS!!!)
5th - Usually steps down or is omitted
3rd - in S or B goes up 1/2 step
in A or T can go up 1/2 step or down M3
R - in root position goes to new root
in A or T repeats as common tone

Inversions: V7, V6/5, V4/3, V2 (on a 5th chord for example, but works on all)

Key d: V7 to i

Key Ab: ii6/5 to V

Key B: ii7 to I6 (first inversion on a normal triad)

Key Eb: IV7 to ii6

Key A: V2 to VI6

If you guys could help me it would be much obliged and appriciated.

A7 -> DM

Bbm6/F -> EbM

C#7 -> BM6/D#

.. am i doing this correctly?

Yes but could you elaborate. For instance;

A7 -> DM
(Mm7) -> M3

A C# E G -> D F A

I really don't think that sharp is supposed to be there. But Mm7 is 4 half steps, then 3 half steps, then 3 half steps.

7: G steps down to F

5: E steps down to D

3: C# steps down M3 to A

R: A goes to F

That actully works out just fine.

This is what I dont get.

C#7 -> BM6/D#

7 - B -> ??? (B)

5 - G# -> F#

3 - E -> D#

R - C# -> D#

Is the 7th going to repeat as a common tone? It has to step down though.
