define rock, in terms of flexibility probably the lone star, but the orange will do amazingly at one or two things manily classic rock and SOME higher gain stuff

so depends on what you want

Lonestars are based on old Fender amps and Orange on Marshall, right? (sterotyping, i know) But still it depends largely on whether you like british or american tone. Personally i cant decide, hence why i AB an Orange AD30HTC and a Fender Twin.
