I've noticed that sometimes when I play a note on my guitar, I hear a buzzing noise, which I'm assuming is the string hitting some other fret in its vibration. Is this my guitar's way of telling me that it's time to take it to the shop to get set up?

Or you could just raise the action slightly yourself

well right now it sounds like all u need is a simple raise of the action. if ur not confident and think that u might **** it up, then take it to a tech.
